I don’t consider myself a blogger, even though I run this blog and occasionally post a few entries. What I really enjoy is working with people with different cultural backgrounds. If technology is involved, all the better! For the past few months I’ve been working on a project called Ushahidi as a PHP developer. It’s an amazing project that aggregates crisis information with live reports. If you’ve never heard of it, go check it out. In March 2009 I will be starting a 6+ month position with BusyLab in Accra, Ghana working on a project called Esoko. It’s equally as cool as Ushahidi so go and check it out as well.
Places I’ve worked in the past include Ashworth College, CNET (CBS) and Blake and Others all in PHP/JSP web development. In 2006/07 I was a US Peace Corps volunteer working with the Ugunja Community Resource Centre in SED/ICT (Small Enterprise Development / Information Communication Technology)
You can find me around the social web on sites like LinkedIn and Facebook and I always like to meet new people on Twitter. Of course, you can also email me.
